PrescribeCare Updates

We have a new encounter template for Point of Care Testing! This new template will allow you to perform some common point of care tests with you patients. The 3 tests we currently offer are:

  1. Influenza
  2. Strep
  3. Urinary Tract Infection.

To access this new template, navigate to the PrescribeCare portion of a patient profile and click Add Encounter and select Point of Care Testing from the drop-down menu. Printouts are available for this template!

You may see a new patient listed in your patient lists… Don’t worry! This is a sample patient designed to be used to test eCare Plans. The patient will have the following information in their profile:

Patient Communication Updates

Good News! The message center will now automatically log a non-patient’s phone number as a wrong number. This will happen if the person’s reply to a Message Center text indicates it is not the correct phone number. If this happens, that number will automatically be opted out of communications. This will be noted on the Contact Preference section of the Patient Profile.

Patient Text Consent: We will now send “As-Needed” text consent campaigns. This will be in addition to the Post-Fill Text consent. Patients who would be due to receive a text campaign will first receive an “As-Needed Text Consent,” if they have not yet received any consent campaign.

Patients who are marked Deceased, Nursing Home patients, and patients opted-out from PharmacyGrowth communications will automatically be excluded from planned communications such as Med Time Reminders.

Bug Fixes

Extra campaign attempts were being displayed in the Communications area of some patient profiles. This has been addressed.
